French Cognac producer Hennessy has opened its first airport flagship store at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) featuring interactive experience and limited edition rarities.

The store, called House of Hennessy, is located at the recently opened Duty Zero zone in Departure Hall 1 of HKIA's Terminal 1. Travellers can experience a multi-sensory journey into the world of Cognacs and discover the flavours and aromas Hennessy Cognacs can provide.

The new interactive store involves an immersive Cognac experience in a shop space its design was inspired by Château de Bagnolet which was acquired by the Hennessy family in 1841. The castle was said to be a symbol of French art de vivre and Hennessy heritage where the family had hosted tastings for many guests.

Thanks to interactive technologies, the experience allows guests to be immersed in the Château de Bagnolet through three chapters: "Hennessy Saga", "Hennessy Savoir-Faire" and "Hennessy Paradis Imperial".

The shop offers a full range of Hennessy Cognacs, along with limited editions and exclusive products, such as Hennessy VSOP 200th, Hennessy X.X.O Hors d’Âge and Hennessy X.O designed by Marc Newson.

The store is the only place in the world to feature two Hennessy Rarities: Hennessy X.O Mathusalem 6L and Edition Particulière. The price points range from HKD600 (USD77) to HKD200,000.

The products offered will be updated every two months, providing frequent travellers with something new.

Moet Hennessy Global Travel Retail’s president Laurent Boidevezi revealed that they will bring more new exclusive offers to this store in coming months, including Hennessy XO Ice and an exciting new launch.
