VINITALY TO HOLD CHINA ROADSHOW 13-17 SEPTEMBER IN BEIJING, QINGDAO AND CHONGQING

The 4th edition of Vinitaly China Road will take place on 13, 15 and 17 September in Beijing, Qingdao and Chongqing cities respectively.
Jointly organised by Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the ITA/ICE-Italian Trade Commission and Veronafiere Exhibition in Verona, this year’s roadshow will showcase 800 wines from some 70 Italian producers.
The three days of roadshow events will only open to invited professionals who are mostly importers, distributors, as well as retailers on e-commerce and physical channels.
To kick off this year’s Vinitaly China Roadshow, a tasting event will be held at Four Seasons Hotel in Beijing from 1 to 6 pm on 13 September.
This will be followed by another afternoon tasting event to be held at the St. Regis in Qingdao city on 15 September.
The last of the series will take place at the Westin Jiefangbei Hotel in Chongqing city on 17 September.
The second edition of Italian Wine Week will be organised alongside the tasting events in each of the three cities.
The 4th Vinitaly China Road is powered by Chinese exhibition organisers Shenzhen Pacco and Valued Show with the help from local and strategic partners in each city of the Roadshow.
According to the organiser, last year’s Vinitaly China Roadshow had attracted more than 2,000 visitors from three cities (Shanghai, Xiamen and Chengdu) featuring some 700 wines from more than 60 Italian producers.
