“WINE-CATION” PACKAGES AVAILABLE TO HONG KONG WINE LOVERS DURING WINE & DINE FESTIVAL

Hong Kong wine lovers can enjoy a “Wine-cation” in more than 20 Hong Kong hotels as part of the events in this year's Wine and Dine Festival.
Organised by Hong Kong Tourism Board, hotels offering wine-cations include Four Seasons Hotel, Mandarin Oriental, Harbour Grand, Regal Hongkong Hotel, Hyatt Regency and InterContinental Grand Stanford.
Priced from HKD500 (USD66) to about HKD4,000 (USD533) plus service charges, The Wine-cation packages provide wine lovers with a wide range of experiences.
While staying in the hotel, guests can join a “free flow frenzy” in which they can enjoy a two-hour free flow of red and white wines, or a three-hour free flow of red and white wines and cocktails with a complimentary snack.
Some hotels will also offer a 6-course menu for two with wine pairing by a professional sommelier.
There are also “value-for-money” choices. One option allows guests to have an one night stay for two for as little as HKD573, as well as a HKD424 afternoon tea set with sparkling wine.
Another good price option is HKD1,328 for a double room and a breakfast buffet and a wine pairing seafood platter worth HKD1,200.
For guests looking for more luxurious experience, they can spend HKD4,600 to enjoy a HKD4,400 worth seasonal Omakase menu by a Japanese chef with sake pairing during their stay in an apartment.
