67 PALL MALL OPENS SINGAPORE CLUB WITH SE ASIA’S BIGGEST WINE LIST OF 5,000 WINES

The London-based wine club 67 Pall Mall opened a 15,000 sq ft club in Singapore on Valentine’s Day featuring the biggest and most diverse wine list in Southeast Asia with 5,000 wines.

The club welcomes members into its spectacular penthouse in Shaw Centre in the heart of Orchard Road. Founding life membership is SGD200,000 (USD148,800), standard membership is SGD200 per month, plus a SGD2,400 joining fee.

The grand opening of the Singapore Club is deemed a watershed moment for the food and beverage scene in Southeast Asia, it is expected to attract lovers of fine wine and food across the region.

The 5,000 wines in the wine cellar came from 42 countries, among them 1,000 are available by the glass.

Not only will the world’s finest and rarest wines become easily available, they will become more affordable as well.

To complement the extensive wine list, the Singapore Club will also provide authentic culinary experience to their members, allows for sophisticated food pairings in comfortable and convivial surroundings.

The club will feature an impressive calendar of events, to include seated masterclasses, fascinating dinners, explorative walk-around tastings and casual drinks parties.

As part of the events to mark its grand opening, the Singapore Club will host The Expert Series in March and April filled with masterclasses and free-pour brunches:

• Master of Wine and Burgundy expert Jasper Morris (11 – 13 March)
• World’s most informed and accomplished expert on the wines of Bordeaux’ Jane Anson (18 – 20 March)
• Celebrated forerunning wine writer Jancis Robinson MW (1 – 3 April)

Despite of the pandemic, 67 Pall Mall has been actively expanding. It opened a site in Swiss ski resort Verbier before Christmas prior to the opening of the Singapore Club.

Work is also under way on the club's Burgundy HQ, it will have a club, TV studio, bar and restaurant and is scheduled to open in Beaune in May 2023.
