The Vietnam Wine and Spirits Expo has been successfully concluded on 19 April having attracted 28,000 participants, underscoring its growing significance in the regional and global markets.
Held from 17 to 19 April this year at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, the expo served as a melting pot of flavours, trends and business opportunities for Vietnam’s wine and spirits industry.
Exhibitors from across Vietnam and around the world presented an extensive array of wines, spirits, and related products.
One of the highlights of the expo was the opportunity for industry players to gain insights into the latest market trends.
Seminars and workshops were held, covering topics such as emerging consumer preferences, sustainable production methods, and the impact of global trade policies on the wine and spirits sector.
Speakers emphasised the growing demand for high-quality, artisanal products in Vietnam, as well as the potential for exports to neighbouring countries.
For local producers, the expo was a platform to showcase their craftsmanship and innovation. Many small-scale distilleries and wineries, which have been steadily growing in recent years, used the event to introduce new products to a wider audience.
These producers are leveraging Vietnam's unique climate and agricultural resources to create distinctive beverages that blend traditional techniques with modern twists.
On the international front, the fair attracted a significant number of foreign exhibitors, eager to tap into Vietnam's growing market.
Wine and spirits companies from France, Italy, and Australia, among others, were present, hoping to build partnerships and expand their market share in Southeast Asia.
This international participation not only added to the diversity of products on display but also facilitated knowledge exchange and international collaboration within the industry.
