ITALIAN TENOR ANDREA BOCELLI TO DEBUT HIS FAMILY WINES IN TAIWAN AHEAD OF APRIL CONCERT

Renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will debut globally five of his family winery’s labels in Taiwan ahead of his April concert in Taipei Arena.
Born to a wine making family in Tuscany, the blind tenor will bring to Taiwan three signature labels – Prosecco D.O.C. extra-dry, Toscana Bianco I.G.T. and Toscana Rosso I.G.T. - and two estate labels – Alcide Rosso I.G.T. and Terre di Dandro Rosso I.G.T.
Expected to arrive in Taiwan after the Chinese new year, the five labels are made under the leader of the family’s third generation, Alessio Bocelli, who has launched a comprehensive update of the wine range with help from Andrea Bocello.
The two estate labels have retained the unique style that has passed down in the family winery for hundreds of years.
While the signature series are made to celebrate Andrea’s 30 years singing career. The wine labels do not only carry his signature, its also has scenes of his concerts as well as wine descriptions in braille printed on them.
Andrea became an operatic phenomenon in the 1990s, going from a piano bar singer to an internationally renowned tenor.
He has sold over 100 million records worldwide and is one of the best-selling music artists in history.
During his 30 years singing career, Andrea has always been actively involved in the daily business of the family winery.
He served as the general manager until recently when Alessio took up the role during the pandemic.
