Wine to Asia 2025 opens in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, over 500 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions will showcase their products.

Organised by Veronafiere, the mastermind behind Vinitaly, in partnership with Shenzhen Pacco Cultural Communication, Wine to Asia aims to be the premier international fair for wine and spirits in Asia, using Shenzhen as its strategic launchpad.

Shenzhen, a bustling metropolis in southern China and the economic heart of the Greater Bay Area, offers a vibrant backdrop for this event.

With a GDP of RMB3.58 trillion (USD482 billion) ranking fifth among all Asian cities in economic aggregate, Shenzhen boasts over 3000 wine companies, accounting for more than 30 percent of total Chinese wine importers.

Exhibitors from major producers like France, Italy and Australia, as well as emerging producing areas like Japan and China will all take part in this year’s show.

Asian producers, in particular, will have a chance to shine on this international stage, with China's growing wine industry being well represented.

The show does not only allow international producers to tap into the vast Asian consumer markets but also provides Asian producers with an opportunity to gain global recognition and connect with international distributors and enthusiasts.

The exhibition area, spanning 40,000 square meters, will be arranged with theme-based pavilions and special zones dedicated to wines, champagne and spirits. This layout makes it easy for visitors to explore and discover new products according to their preferences.

The event will also offer a rich program of activities. Industry professionals will conduct seminars, specialised masterclasses and tasting sessions.

Concurrent with Wine to Asia 2025 is the upgraded Greater Bay Wine Week, which runs from 1 to 11 May.

This initiative is a unique way to network the ho.re.ca (hotel, restaurant, and café) sector of the Greater Bay Area. By integrating B2B professional matchmaking with consumer-end cultural scenarios, it bridges the gap between the industry and consumers.

It offers consumers a chance to experience different wines and spirits in various settings, from fine - dining restaurants to trendy wine bars, and also provides businesses in the hospitality industry with opportunities to source new products and enhance their offerings.
