ProWine Hong Kong will open tomorrow at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) along with food and hospitality tradeshow, HOFEX, for a 3-day exhibition featuring a myriad of international companies and country pavilions.

Under the support of their owns governments, various trade bodies will host country pavilions during the shows. Among them is German pavilion by Wines of Germany and the French pavilion by Business France. All of them will showcase their best wines and spirits to the visitors.

The ProWine Hong Kong Wine Forum will be held during the 3 days of exhibition. Topics will cover current wine trends and tasting techniques on styles including Haute Couture Champagne, Prosecco, Spanish Sherries, Chinese baijiu and more.

Speakers include Hong Kong’s award-winning sommelier Reeze Choi, Master of Wine Debra Meiburg MW, wine and spirits educators Jennie Mack and Eddie Nara.

Asia's leading food & hospitality tradeshow, HOFEX, will be held alongside Prowine Hong Kong at the same time in HKCEC.

This year’s HOFEX show will host more than 1,200 exhibiting brands including national and regional pavilions from China, Denmark, Italy, Macau, Malaysia, South Korea, Poland, Thailand, UK and USA.

More than 25,000 trade buyers from all sectors of the hospitality and food industry are expected to attend.

An array of competitions, forums and award ceremonies will also take place during the show, including the Hong Kong Professional Mixologist Challenge 2023 and the GHM Hotel Industry Development Leaders Summit for industry professionals in the Greater Bay Area covering Hong Kong, Macau and China’s Guangdong province.

Supported by InvestHK, Hong Kong Tourism Board and Hong Kong Hotels Association, the opening ceremony of the shows will be officiated by Hong Kong financial secretary Paul Chan tomorrow.
