The ninth edition of Sake Festival Singapore will return on 15 June, the event will be held at the Suntec City Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Organised by the Japanese liquor boutique Orihara, the festival is one of Asia’s first and largest Japanese sake and liquor exhibitions.
This year’s event will feature some 300 labels of sake sourced from prefectures all across Japan, available for tasting across the various booths.
The booths will be helmed by toji (master brewers) and kurabito (brewery workers) from reputable breweries across Japan.
Visitors will be able to learn from them about the ancient art of sake brewing and will have the chance to taste event-exclusive sakes.
A total of seven Japanese chefs and restaurateurs will also attend the show, they will prepare dishes that are specially created for the event.
Visitors will be able to sample tasty izakaya bites from Hearth, Torso, Teppei, Kajiken and more.
For the first time this year, certified sake sommeliers will also be present at the festival to provide
recommendations on sake and food pairing.
The show will start at 2pm on 15 June until 7pm, tickets are available at SGD60 per person, or SGD300 for a bundle of six tickets.
