Maison Krug will mark a milestone moment in its culinary calendar this July with the launch of Southeast Asia’s inaugural Krug Ambassade Regional Summit, unveiling the carrot as its 2025 Single Ingredient.
This year’s celebration will showcase the versatility of the vegetable, paired with Krug’s latest Editions, the Krug Grande Cuvée 173ème Édition and the Krug Rosé 29ème Édition.
The summit brings together 11 Krug Ambassade restaurants from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Culinary leaders such as JAAN by Kirk Westaway, Zén, and the two-Michelin-starred Sühring will present unique interpretations of the carrot across textures, temperatures and techniques.
A limited-ticket six-hands dinner, hosted at JAAN on 10 July, will headline the festivities.
Crafted by Cellar Master Julie Cavil, Krug Grande Cuvée 173ème Édition blends 150 wines from 13 vintages while Krug Rosé 29ème Édition comprises 29 wines across five vintages, each reflecting the Maison’s philosophy of individuality.
Both will feature in exclusive by-the-glass pairings available at participating restaurants from August to December.
As part of the experience, patrons will receive Root for Thought, a cookbook authored by Krug Ambassade chefs worldwide that explores home-friendly pairings of carrots and Krug Champagne.
Krug, founded in 1843 in Reims by Joseph Krug, says it remains committed to crafting exceptional Champagne by embracing each vineyard’s unique expression and maintaining an extensive reserve wine library.
