Vinexpo Asia 2026, Asia’s leading wine and spirits trade exhibition, will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 26 to 28 May, debuting a pioneering three-in-one format to align with evolving regional beverage market trends.
Breaking away from traditional single-category trade shows, this year’s event integrates three core platforms: Vinexpo Asia for fine and sparkling wines, Be Spirits dedicated to premium spirits, sake, craft beer and cider, and Be No focusing on non-alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages.
The integrated format, first proven successful at Wine Paris, caters to surging demand for diversified drinking choices across Asia, particularly the fast-growing low-and-no alcohol segment driven by health-conscious younger consumers.
Hong Kong is a strategic gateway to Greater China, Japan, South Korea and other key Northeast Asian markets, the 2026 expo leverages Hong Kong’s free-port advantage and zero wine tariff policy to connect global producers with regional buyers.
Organiser Vinexposium expects robust participation, building on the 2024 edition’s turnout of 14,203 trade visitors from 60 countries and 1,032 exhibitors from 35 nations.
Confirmed exhibitors this year span major wine and spirits producing regions including France, Italy, Australia, Chile, South Africa, USA, Japan and South Korea, with dedicated Japanese and South Korean pavilions highlighting regional beverage trends.
The expo will centre on pivotal industry trends reshaping Asia’s drinks market: premiumisation, sustainable production, digital commerce and the booming non-alcoholic sector.
It will host more than 50 Vinexpo Academy conferences, masterclasses and tastings, alongside a tailored business matchmaking platform to facilitate trade collaborations.
Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium, stated that the three-in-one model reflects the integrated lifestyle choices of Asian consumers, creating greater efficiency for buyers and expanded exposure for producers across all beverage categories. For South African wine producers, who gain zero-tariff access to the Chinese market starting 1 May, the expo serves as a critical launchpad to expand their footprint in Asia’s dynamic market.
As a barometer of the regional drinks industry, Vinexpo Asia 2026 is set to drive cross-sector trade opportunities and chart the development trajectory of Asia’s wine and spirits market over the next three years.
